South Utah Valley Electric Service District (SESD) is seeking a qualified and experienced candidate to fill a Meter Technician position. SESD is seeking a Safety-focused Electric Meter Technician needed to install, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair single-phase, polyphase, transformer-rated, and AMI/smart meters, including net-metering and customer-owned renewable energy interconnections (solar PV, battery storage, wind, etc.). The role performs Blue Stake/811 utility locates and ensures accurate meter billing, code compliance and safety standards.
